A new chapter begins.

After creating nearly 50 original gamified experiences and award-winning escape adventures across Europe, Enigmarium is now bringing its unique blend of storytelling, immersive design, and puzzle craftsmanship to Denmark.

In partnership with a Danish team in Blåvand, we are developing a new generation of escape experiences that combine Danish excellence in hospitality and tourism with Enigmarium’s signature creativity and game design.

Located on Denmark’s beautiful west coast, the new Enigmarium center in Blåvand will welcome families, tourists, escape enthusiasts, and team-building groups from Denmark, Germany, and beyond. The goal is simple: create unforgettable adventures inspired by Nordic legends, local folklore, and the spirit of hygge.

At opening, visitors will step into two original adventures:

LUDVIG’S KITCHEN: The HYGGE Recipe

A playful retro adventure set in 1986, where players travel back in time to recover a legendary recipe said to bring happiness to everyone who tastes it. Guided by clues left behind by Master Ludvig Løgstrup — and perhaps helped (or tricked) by a mischievous kitchen Nisse — teams must solve culinary puzzles before the secret falls into the wrong hands.

THE WONDROUS MACHINE: The Tail of the Midgard Serpent

An epic escape experience inspired by Norse mythology. Deep beneath the coast of Blåvand lies the tail of Jörmungandr, the legendary Midgard Serpent. Players must enter the abandoned laboratory of Dr. Alois Underlind, overcome mechanical trials, and reactivate the mysterious machine before catastrophe strikes.

The Blåvand experiences are being designed specifically for Denmark, with storylines, scenography, effects, puzzles, technical systems, and local cultural references.

The center is also part of a broader vision of immersive tourism experiences in the area, connected with local attractions, teambuilding programmes, and future expansion ideas inspired by Nordic mythology and adventure culture.
